The men’s hockey season in Wellington opened on Saturday with a full programme in the three top grades, and the results of the inatehe-s largely followed the form of last season. ’l’lif Karori team, which included an outstanding forward line, soundly -defeated Trentham Army, newcomers to the senior ranks and. also to Wellington Centre hockey. Wellington, returning to competition hockey, drew with Huia, and College Old Boys beat Varsity B with a two-goal margin.
