BRITISH EDUCATION BILL
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 12. The Education Bill, after many long debates extending over 19 Parliamentary days, passed its second reading in the House of Commons today, and Mr. B. A. Butler, President of the Board of Education, will henceforth be known as Minister of Education.
He received a chorus of congratulations from all parts of the House on the ability and tact with which he piloted a very contentious measure through all its stages.
