GERMAN ATTACK ON DNIESTER
To Delay Rumania Battle LONDON, May 12. '- Reuter’s Moscow correspondent says that the Germans’ spoiling attack against the Red Army’s lower Dniester bridgehead is a direct reply to the loss of Sebastopol and a plain attempt to delay the battle for Rumania, which threatens to open up at any moment. The Red Army has been preparing, on the Dniester for an assault against KichInev to open the way for a drive round the Blgek Sea coast through the Gala.z gap to the Danube Valley.
