TRUK AGAIN RAIDED
WASHINGTON. May 11. Army Liberators bombed Truk on the Might of May 8, dropping 40 tons of bombs on air strips and defence installations. says a Pacific Fleet communique. A possible hit on a ship near Moen Island was scored with a 20001 b. bomb. Other Liberators bombed Oroltik atoli and I’onape town. Liberators on Tuesday attacked Maae Island and the Mitchells bombed I’onape. Other bombers and fighters bombed and strafed the remaining enemy positions in She Marshalls.
