“Best Foot Forward” Has Colour And Song (By T.L.) . In the new films in Wellington this week —<an<l there are not many changes—the accent is ou music. Abbott and Costello follow in Sonja Henle’s footsteps in “Hit the Ice” at St. James, and Lucille Ball appears in a lavish colour musical, “Best Foot Forward,” at the Majestic. The Paramount has brought back Judy Garland's popular song-and-dance show, of the first war, “For Me and My Gal.” “Stage Door Canteen,” at, the King’s, and “The Major and the Minor” at the Kegent, are among -the pick of the films that have been held over for extended seasons.
