Roosevelt’s Candidature (Received May 10, 8 p.m.) WASHINGTON, May 9. The president of the Congress of Industrial Organizations, Mr. Murray, in a speech to the United Steel Workers convention in Cleveland, endorsed 1 resident Roosevelt’s candidature for , a fourth term. He said an overwhelming majority of the people, regardless of political affiliation, demanded his re-election. “No man in our lifetime,” he added, has rendered greater service to his nation.
