DAME ETHEL SMYTH DEAD
(By The death has occurred of Dame Ethei Smyth, the famous composer and author She was born in ISoS mid studied mic e in Germany. Her operas include The Wreckers” aud “The Boatswains Mute, aud her symphonies one tor two solo voices, chorus mid orchestra. She was a militant suffragette and wrote the battle song of the W.S.I’.U. Iler books include "Streaks of Life. A I null Burning of Boats.” and "Impressions; lh.it Remained.” She was created u D.b.B. in 1922.
