Hutt Valley Competitions

The inaugural festival of the Hutt Valley Competitions Society is 'being held in the Labour Hall, Petone. -Large entries are providing an Interesting and entertaining variety of items. Elocution scholarship, ladies or gentlemen. 16 and under 21; Miss Anne Iflsh (Lower Hutt), 1; Miss Paddy Turner (Masterton), 2. National song, ladies, own 1 selection: Miss Alma M. Collins (Otane), 1; Miss Sylvia Boyd (Wellington), 2.
