Kenneth Douglas Brown, greenkeeper, a-e<l 30, who had pleaded guilty to indecently assaulting a female at New Plymouth,‘was sentenced by Mr. .lustlee Blair in the Supreme Court, Wellington, yesterday. t° reformative detention for IS months. His Honour said Hie sentence was not to punish prisoner, but was passed in order Hint he could be dealt with under the Mental Defectives Act.
