WEDDING

Hall—Watson A very pretty wedding took place at the Methodist Church, Paraparaumu, on April 8, when Aiiiy Elizabeth (Betty), younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Watson, Paraparaumu Beach, was married to Herbert Kitchener, third son of Mr. and Mrs. P. R- Hall, Hope, Nelson. The Rev. H. Wright officiated. The bride, escorted by her father, wore a trained gown of white bridal silk and an embroidered veil lent by her sister, Mrs. Larsen. She carried a bouquet of white heather, roses and shasta daisies and tied with Royal Stuart tartan ribbon. , , , Miss Melda Delahunty attended her, wearing a frock of delphinium blue, taffeta and carried a posy of autumn-tinted dahlias. These flowers formed her headdress also. Little Jenifer McChesney was flower-girl in an ankle-length white frock and carried a basket of white flowers tied witli tartan ribbons. Mr. Ray Hunter was best man.
