Day Of Small Scores Ths second series of matches in the Wellington Football Association’s competitions was held on Saturday afternoon in rainy weather, and the slippery grounds caused scores to be low. Results of the lirst division matches are as follows: — Venus Shield. Waterside 3, Moera Stop Out I.—Mlldenhall, Walker and Gibb scored for Waterside and Withers for Moera Stop Out. Technical College Old Boys 2, Hospital 2.— Upchurch scored both Technical Coilege Old Boys’ goals, and Jeffery and Miles scored for Hospital. Marist 1, Comrades I.—Lavin scored for Marist and Gibson for Comrades. Railways 5, Lower Hutt 2.—Leighton (4) and Downes scored for Railways aud Brown for Lower Hutt. Simonds, of Railways, scored accidentally for Lower Hutt Tower Cup. Petone 2, Diamond I.—Hunt and Thompson scored for Petone and Flett for Dla mond. Moera Stop Out 6, Scatoun I.—For Moera Stop Out Coc, Harrington, Barker (2), McClellan and Duncan scored, and for Seatoun C. Yeoman. Air Force 2, Railways 2.—Woods (2) and Taylor scored for Railways, and Canavan anil Sharp for Air Force. Army 9, Varsity 2. —Allan (4), Jenkins (2), Lovett, Crane and Frieker scored for Army, and Williams aud Walls for Varsity. Technical College Old Boys 1. Training College I.—Lovatt scored for Technical Oil Boys, and A. Smith for Training College.
