MAKARA TENNIS CLUB
There was a good atendance at the annual general meeting of the Makara Tennis Club, held recently. The report and balance-sheet showed the club to be in a very sound position in spite of war condi- . tior.4>. Credit was given to the club captain. Mrs. Baker, and to Miss Betty Bowen, secretary, for the businesslike manner in which they had both carried out their duties. The officers for the forthcoming season are: President, Mr. 11. W.
