Italian National Front Of

Liberation

LONDON, October 18. The “National Front of Liberation,” led by the distinguished anti-Fascist,. Signor Benedetto. Croce, is raising a volunteer corps in Naples to operate under, direct orders of the Allied command and indeiiendently of the Italian regular army. Reuter’s correspondent with the Fifth Army, reporting this, says the volunteers will wear . the British battledress with a distinguishing badge.

Signor Groce, aged 77, is an historian, art critic and philosopher, and author or many works, die was' Minister of Education'in 1920-21. and is one of the veteran senators. IHe belonged to the old Italian Liberal movement.
