Portfolios Relinquished
The lion. J. G. Barclay, who lost his seat, Marsden, at the general election, tendered his resignation as a member ot the Executive Council to the GovernorGeneral, Sir Cyril NewalJ, yesterday. He also resigned his portfolios as Minister of Agriculture, Marketing, Lands, and Commissioner of State Forests. Mr. Barclay left Wellington last night tor a holiday in the South Island.
