The German High Command is expected to order its entire forces in southern Italy to withdraw toward Rome because of the speed of the Allied advance which is threatening a vast encircling movement, say dispatches from the Allied headquarters in North Africa. Rome radio last night said that with imposing infantry forces, the Allies have launched an attack on a larger scale than ever before, apparently intending to force the road to Rome. The enemy is throwing in all he has.
