Polish Army League
Sir, —With reference to a paragraph which appeared in your issue of 13th instant, concerning the activities of the Polish Army League, may I ask you for a little space in your columns? In a few weeks it will be two years since the Polish Army League commenced its work of sending letters and small gifts to the members of the Polish forces in the Middle East. I have seen some of the letters written by the Polish soldiers, and am well aware how much comfort has been brought to them in their loneliness, aiso how much these letters have contributed to the building up of a new and lasting friendship between two United Nations. On behalf of the Polish soldiers, I wish to convey my deepest appreciation to all the members of the Polish Army League throughout New Zealand for the great work they are doing, especially to the initiators and organizers, Mesdauies L.
