AVARS AW MAN-HUNT

The Polish Government in London received today from its delegate in Poland an alarming report about n man-himt carried out in Warsaw last Wednesday. At 9 a.m. lorries with S.S. escorts suddenly appeared and drew a cordon round whole blocks and streets and proceeded to carry out a most savage manhunt. They seized everybody, and those who tried to escape were shot at. Mass arrests and searches followed (luring the night and into Thursday. Yesterday. the street, raids started again, and shots were hoard. It is impossible to estimate the number arrested, but it must be more than 5000. Their fate is unknown.
