CHOLERA IN CALCUTTA
LONDON, October 15. Over 250 deaths from cholera have occurred in one week in the rural areas in the Bogra district. Ninety-seven eases occurred in Calcutta last week compared with 82 in the previous week, reports Reuter’s Calcutta correspondent. The Bengal Civil Protection Committee has inoculated 40,000 against the disease and is now urging mass inoculation at free kitchens.
