WINDFALL FOR ZOO
Bequest By Late Mr. B. G. H. Burn Notification has been received by the Wellington City Council of a bequest of £250 under 'the wiil of the late Mr. Benjamin G. H. Burn, Karori, a former mayor of Karori anil member ot the Wellington City Council, for the improvement or maintenance of the Wellington zoo. in which Mr. Burn was particularly interested as chairman of the reserves committee. . „ , , , Mention was mane of the bequest at the last meeting of the council, when the mayor, Mr. Hislop, expressed he keen appreciation of the council at the action of their late colleague, mid stated that consideration would in due course be given to the utilization of the bequest in a fitting manner.
