AIRGRAPH MESSAGES

Greetings For Christmas A special airgraph message form has been designed for sending Christmas and New Year greetings to people in the countries with which the airgraph service is in operation. The special form is similar in size and general layout to the ordinary form, but about halt the writing space is occupied by a Christmas greetings design. In announcing yesterday that copies of the special form would "be available to the public at all post offices at an early date, the Postmaster-General, Mr. Webb, said the charges for the transmission of the special greetings airgraph would be the same as for ordinary airgraph messages —sd. for a message of the forces’ category, and lOd. for a message of the civilian category. There was no additional charge for the form. “It has been arranged with the other countries concerned that these greetings airgraphs will be delivered as near to Christmas as possible.” said the Minister, “Ibut, in order that this purpose may be achieved, it will be necessary for the special forms to be lodged by the senders in time to reach Wellington not later than the end of November. If it is possible for some countries to accept messages up to a later date, a further announcement will be made.”
