GOLFER SEEKS INQUIRY
(Received October 14, 9.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, October 13. The golfer, Joe Kirkwood, said he would ask the Washington Naval Intelligence Board of Inquiry for a hearing to determine if he was being investigated as an enemy agent. Kirkwood told the United Press of America that Navy investigators have questioned other golf professional and friends about him for two months, but have not approached him. The United Press added that Kirkwood twice paid long visits to Japan on tour with other golfers.
The death has occurred in London ot Mr. J. T. Tussaud, director of uud_ the artist to Madame Tussaud and Sous Exhibition since 1886.
