Late War News FORECAST FOR ITALY
War Declaration (By Teleirrnpli. — Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Received October 14. 1.40 a.m.) NEW YORK, October 13. Italy, according to private advices, will formally declare war on Germany today -and will be recognized as a cobelligerent, says the “New York Times.” This action will be taken with tre approcal of Britain, America and Russia, but such recognition would not. include Italy among the United Nations, though .presumably the Allies would be compelled to equip with lendlease material any large Italian forces that are placed in the field. What these forces may be is obscure, but some see a hint in a statement by Mr. Churchill that the Italian Fleet might fight under its own commanders for the United Nations.
