Prisoners In Germany
LONDON; October 12.
The Inspector-General for German prisoners of war announced that the Red Cross reports of British and American treatment of prisoners of war were, so good that Germany felt compelled to improve the conditions of British and American prisoners in Germany. British and American prisoners will in future do lighter work and officers will be granted leave on parole more generously.
The death has occurred of Dr.. Samuel Church, President of the Carnegie Institute, who offered 1,000.000 dollars for the kidnapping of Herr Hitler.
