Ten chips of dessert quality strawberries from Birkdale met with a ready sale at Hie 'Auckland markets on Tuesday at 6/- <i chip. Fairly large in size and well coloured, the berries were retailed at 7/- a chip. Eight chips or berries from the same locality, suitable for jam-inaking. alsa .had a keen deniand.
