On two charges of breaking and entering dwelling houses by day. one in Hobsoil Street and the other in Tinakori Road. Albert Leonard Simmons, mechanic, 33. who pleaded not guilty, was committed tu (he Supreme Court for trial by Mr. Stout:, S.M., in (he Magistrates’ Court, 'Wellington yesterday. Two summary charges of (heft: were also preferred against Simmons, who pleaded guilty. They were stealing a handbag containing £l/2/9 and stealing a bottle of whisky valued at 15/-, Sentence was deferred till after the hearing of the Supreme Court actions.
