Rehabilitation Work The appointment of Lieutenant-Colonel F. Baker, D. 5.0., as Director of Rehabilitation was announced yesterday by the Minister of Rehabilitation, Major Skinner. , Lieutenant-Colonel Baker is at present undergoing further treatment . in Christchurch for a wound he received ou active service. In 1942 he was ap ; pointed officer commanding the Maori Battalion, succeeding the late LieutenantColonel E. T. AV. Love, who was killed in action, and was later invalided back to to New Zealand. He went ove.reeao with the second echelon. In civil life be was on the staff of the State Advances Corporation. His wife, Mrs. E, M. Baker, lives in AVellington.
