"The Amazing Mrs. Holliday” (St. James).—Deanna Durbin, the golden-voiced songstress, back again in a completely new role. Deanna is amazing as a merry widow. Supporting artists are Edward O’Brien, Barry Fitzgerald - and Arthur Treacher. ‘‘Miss V From Moscow” (De Luxe).— The battle between a beautiful Russian spy and the Gestapo, starring Lola .Lane, Noel Madison, and Howard Banks. Second attraction: The Dead. End Kids in “Kid. Dynamite.” . “First of'the Few” (Plaza).—The unforgettable story of the immortal de signer of the ‘Spitfire.' Leslie Howard (in one of hie last pictures) and David Niven, supported by Roland Culver. Rosamund Johns, Anne. Firth. “The Desperadoes” (The State). — A mighty epic of the West in teejjuicolour, co-starring Randolph Scott, Glenn Ford, Claire Trevor, Evelyn Keyes. “The Sea Wolf” (Tivoli). —Edward G Robinson. House).—Opening tomorrow, Ha Ijupino and Humphrey Bogart, in a stark story of the high peaks. “City Without Men” (Tudor). —A ■woman loves . . . -and suffers. Stars: Linda Darnell and Edgar Buchanan. “One Dangerous Night,” with Eric Blore and Marguerite Chapman, is the second feature. “Immortal Sergeant” (King's).—Battle in the deserts, capturing the atmosphere of the campaigns in Africa, with Henry Fonda and Maureen O’Hara? in the principal parts. A story of love, courage and faith. “Who Done. It?” (Paramount).—Another Bud Abbott and Lou Costello fun riot, with them acting as detectives. Patrie Knowles, William Gargan, and Louise Allbrittqn assist in the niix-up. “Wells Fargo” is the second attraction, a -story of the earlymail runs.
