MR. HARRIMAN IN LONDON
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 4. Mr. Averell Harriman, who has served since early in 1941 as President Roosevelt’s personal representative in Britain on lend-lease matters, returned to London this afternoon from a visit to the United States. The President sent Mr. Harriman’s name to the Senate on October 1 as American Ambassador to Russia.
