Another armed hold-up on Friday night, in which two men demanded money by menaces from a Chinese who was threateend nt. his home by n mini holding n loaded revolver, is being investigated by the Auckland police. Tbe incident occurred nt tin* home of Fong Kni. 2.38 Balmoral Road. Sandringham, at 11.10 p.m.. 50 minutes before the hold-up nt the shop in Remuera.
Fong Kni was roused by men knocking at the back door, which he opened and they walked in. One was dressed in a khaki uniform and the oilier, who had the revolver, was in civilian clothes. They demanded money. Kill turned out his pockets and placed the contents. 1.0/-. on tlie table. Then he called out to his wife, but they threateend Io shoot if she came. Kui’s son, aged lit. came out pf a bedroom, and they were lioth told to stand tip against the wall by a man who said: “I am going Io finish you off. You'll know us again." Tile men did not take the money, but stole a radio set and an overcoat. They then jumped into a parked ear and disappeared.
