ADAMSON.—On Sunday, October 3, 1943, at the Buchanan Home, Herbert, beloved husband of the late Lillia Jane and lather of Mrs. Margaret Gray, Martinborough, and Mrs. Jane Ottaway, of Wairoa; aged 65 years.

BEATTIE.—On October 4, 1943, at Buchanan Home, Greytown, Adam, youngest brother of R. E. Beattie; aged 83 years. OHITTEY.—On October 3, 1943, at his residence, 89 Oroua Street, Eastbourne, Francis John, beloved husband of Margaret Chittey. Private interment.
