BEATTIE.—On October 4, 1943, at Buchanan Home, Greytown, Adam, youngest brother of R. E. Beattie; aged 83 years. MURRAY.—On October 4, 1943, at the Wellington Hospital, John, beloved father of Jolin, James, and Ernest Murray; agdd 91 years. Private funeral.
SIMMONDS.—On October 4, 1943, at South Featherston, William David, beloved husband of Ethel Simmonds; aged 62 years. TAYLOR.—On October 2, 1913, at the New Plymouth Public Hospital, Miriama, beloved wife of Tai Taylor, Ahititi, Mt. Messenger; aged 40 years.
