DANNEVIRKE RAINFALL
DANNEVIRKE, October 4..
The second heaviest September rainfall since 1006 was experienced in. Dannevirke this year, when a total of G.SSin. was recorded. In 1912 7.sSin. fell, compared with the average fall of 3.41 in. At Rua Roa, a total of 8.15 in. was recorded. Reports from the coastal area show that the month just past was the wettest September since 1906, a total of 9.46 in. being recorded at Pine Grove. The smallest September rainfall in the Dannevirke area was in 1914 when 1.0 1 in. fell with a reading at the coast of ,G7in.
