Mrs. J. W. Newton, Taihape, wlio has been visiting her father, Mr. Mark Maxton. Greytown, has returned home. Mr. Max ton celebrated his ninetieth birthday on September 17. Mrs. H. P. Wrigley, Wellington, is on a brief visit to Mrs. Guy Baillie, Hastings.
Mrs. F. McHardy returned recently to her home in Wnipawa after staying in Palmerston North as the guest of Mrs. D. McHardy.-
Mrs. F. Townsend, Wellington, who lias been visiting Masterton, is staying in Auckland, accompanied by her sister, Mrs. Mary Hensley, .Mastertoil.
Miss Jean Robson. Hastings, is the guest of Miss Pat Crosby, Remuera, Auckland.
