ON THEIR WAY HOME
N.Z. Forestry Troops NEW YORK, September 29. The arrival at an undisclosed port of more than 600 forestry troops of the Australian aud New Zealaud Armies, ou their wav home, after three years' service in the British Isles, is announced by the War Department. The Anzacs will enjoy a three-day vacation in New York City as the guests of the Eastern Defence Command. On Friday the troops will parade up. Broadway to the City Hull, escorted by a battalion of police. They will be welcomed by the mayor, Mr. La Guardia. Other entertainment includes a r special baseball game in New York, Yankees versus Chicago White Sox.
