Today Africa is clear of the enemy. the Axis is broken, Italy has capitulated. and for Germany and Japan the writing is on the wall for all to see., “But because of these things it is no time for complacency oy relaxation, but rather to redouble our efforts. For on our efforts now depends bow soon the final victory is to be achieved, and every month, every week, every day by which the war can 'be shortened means so much less sacrifice of treasure and of human life.” "
