Royal Port Nicholson Club A sound financial position in spite ot difficulties caused 'by the war was revealed at the annual meeting of the Royal Port -Nicholson Yacht Club last- night. Mr- G, C. Beckett presided over a good attendance. The report referred to the temporary abandonment of the clubhouse at the boat harbour and the transfer of all the boats, except those in the naval auxiliary patrol service, to the moorings m Evans Bay. Members were proud, however, of the club’s contribution to the war effort, and were thankful for the temporary clubhouse provided at Evans Bay. The finances had not suffered, and a new and better clubhouse was in sight when tlie war concluded. .
