NAVAL PATROLS IN ACTION
■LONDON, September 27. An Admiralty communique says that our patrols intercepted several groups of E-boats off the east coast of Britain. A number of gun actions was fought before the enemy withdrew eastward. Several of the enemy craft were severely damaged, and at least one was sunk. We lost a trawler.
