The Food and l Rationing Controller, Mr. J. E. Thomas, announced' yesterday that due to the continued; shortage of pig meats required to meet essential demands, the period of prohibition on the sale of pork by way of retail, which was the subject of the ISales of Pork Restriction Order, 1943, had been extended from September 30 to November 30, 1043.
