Mr. and Mrs, James Martin and Miss Noelice Martin, Hawkestone Crescent, will leave 'Wellington today for Christchurch. where 'Miss Martin’s weeding will take place on Saturday to Mr. Eric Carter. At a recent meeting of the council of the New Zealand Institute of Chemistry, Miss E. B’. Kidson, M.Sc., of tlie Cawthrou Institute, Nelson, was elected a Fellow. Mrs. "W. J. Jordan, president, wife of the High Commissioner for New Zealand, Mrs. Lindo Levein, vice-chairman and Miss Stella Murray, secretary, were unanimously re-elected to office at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Women’s Association in London. Mrs. Manson, wife of Group-Captain A. J. M. Manson, was elected to fill a vacancy on the committee.
