ANOTHER TRIP Kindergarten For Australia

It is probable that New Zealand’s champion racehorse Kindergarten will pay another visit to Australia for the spring racing campaign. Kindergarten has been nominated for the .Melbourne Cup and other races and he is in steady work at Gisborne with a view to' making the trip. When Kindergarten will leave probably will depend upon what transport arrangements are available. Raratonga Destroyed. p ... Raratonga, an aged gelding by Phua mor from Spare Moment, recewtly broke a leg and had to be destroyed. When owned in Featherston by Mr. D P. Clark, breeder, he was a moderate performer on the flat, but he showed much improvement when converted to hurdle racing, reached a high mark in the Auckland distrlct, being weighted within afew Pounds of the head of the handicap for the Great Northern Hurdles. •
