U.S. ARMY OF 10,800,000
(British Official Wireless.l RUGBY, June 8. Colonel Lewis Saunders, manpower expert of the United States Selective Service Administration, stated before the Senate Military Affairs Committee that the United States needed 12,300.000 men —1,500,000 more than was al present planned. He said that-a force of 10.800,000 was planned for the end of 1943, the maximum that could be supplied, equipped, nnd transported at present.
