New French Leadership LONDON, June 8. The French Committee of National Liberation has issued a statement in Algiers saying that the Committee had decided to establish a War Committee which will supervise the general conduct of the war, and make all decisions in that connexion. The Algiers correspondent of the Exchange Telegraph news agency says that Generals Giraud. de Gaulle. Catroux, and Georges, and MM. Massigli, Philip, aud Monnet, are likely to fqym rhe War Cabinet.
The constitution at Algiers of. the French Committee of National Liberation was formally notified to the British Foreign Secretary today on behalf of the Fighting French and of General Giraud. The staff of the Fighting French organization in London thus ceases to be the headquarters of Frenchmen fighting with the United Nations, and future dealings will be with the National Committee.
