Wellington Bowling Centre

Tlie resignation of Mr. William Gilbert ns secretary was received nt a meeting of the Wellington Bowling Centre on Tuesday night. Mr. Gilbert, who is a member of the Karofi Bowling Club and a keen bowler, desires more time for playing in tournaments than his duties as secretary permit. Mr. Charles Ingram, for some years secretary of the Wellington Bowling Club, has been appointed to the vacancy. The position curries witli it a salary of £l2O a year, witii office and telephone. On one occasion Mr. Ingram won the champion singles of New Zealand at the New’ Zealand Bowling Association’s annual tournament.
