Japanese Air Raids (Received June 8. 8.50 p.m.)

RUGBY, June 7.

It is officially announced, according to a New Delhi' message, that since Japan entered the war till April 13 last, the casualties in India as a result of Japanese air raids were 1094.

A New. Delhi communique says that American bombers have made widespread raids in Burma in the past two days, bombing railway installations, buildings, engine sheds, and transport at Mandalay, Monywn, Sagaing, and elsewhere. All the American planes returned. An India communique reports that the R.A.F., without loss, attacked objectives in the Kalemgo area and bombed Japanese troop positions in Burma.
