The soldier concerned. Private i iclor Sydney Collins, aged 19. was ehargecl subsequently before the same eourt-n'mr-tial with striking Taipiha, a member of the detention barracks staff at n Wellington district mobilization camp, on the same two occasions. lie was found guilty in respect of the- first and sentenced to 30 day.-' detention.
