Victoria League Luncheon.

The Victoria League in Wellington will hold its first gathering for 1943 on Tuesday, when the members’ luncheon will take place. It is hoped that as many as possible will attend, as coming activities for the year will be discussed.

A very smart summer coat is in cream and cowslip yellow flecked wool. It is a loose-fitting coat with big patch pockets and blocked shoulders,.and cut with a centre back seam slit at the bottom. A black edge-to-edge coat, made of a very fine lightweight boucle, is beautifully cut with a gored skirt with the belt springing from the side seams and tiny lapels high up. Agnes Samson, Lambton Quay.—Advt.
