Employers of Drivers are therefore notified that the Drivers should be given a holiday on Wednesday next. Drivers who are required to work on Wednesday next are. entitled, under the N.Z. Motor and Horse Drivers’ Award, to payment at the rate of time and a half, in addition to their ordinary weekly wage. Drivers employed by firms whose principal business is governed by another award are entitled to the holidays set out in tlie Award governing the business; provided they receive each year not less than the total number of holidays prescribed in tlie Drivers’ Award.
