MARINES AT BASEBALL
.The baseball match which is to be played between teams of marines at Athletic Dark on ..Sunday afternoon is to 'be as much like the game that is the national sport of millions of Americans as the marines can make' it. It can even be exoected that the heckling of players by spectators that is said to be a feature of ’He game in the United States will be (heard. Among the players selected areseveral who are well known in their own country and a spectacular game is expected. The game commences at 1.45. The Marine Corps Band will be present, and will be playing as the crowd assembles. Tickets for the stand are available at the D.I.C. The balance will be sold on the streets tomorrow. Children will be admitted to the ground at half-price, with special cntrances at Bintoul Street and Adelaide Road.
