OBITUARY
Mr. L. Houlbrooke Mr. Leonard Houlbrooke. who died recently at the age of 73, was a pioneer settler of Tiraumea district, and was a meiU'ELf of the Kketahuua County Comic 1 for many years. He was al.-o a ent member of the Masonic Iratermt.v. being a provincial officer of Grand Lodge. He went overseas with the first Expeditionary Force in the last war. seeing service on Gallipoli, am! “I'"" his remrii took up the Tiraumea homestead block close to his Summit property, where the hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. Houlbrooke was much appreciated by many tiatelleis.
