Three women, in the. Magistrates Court today admitted laying totalizator odds on Auckland racecourses. Gladys Florence Mackrell, who was charged with trespassing on (he .Ellerslie course on January .1, was sentenced by the magistrate, Mr. Luxfqrd, to 11 days imprisonment. He said she had been twice convicted for bookmaking and three times for trespassing on the course.
