Artillery Effort In Tunisia

Allied air and artillery action over the Pont du Fahs-Bou Tarada road, covering the French retreat, has limited the German movement to a single south-western drive, says the military spokesman in Algiers, commenting on the Axis penetration south-west or Pont-du-Fahs. It is officially confirmed that the German tank expert, General von Arnim, has succeeded General von Neliring in command in Tunisia.
